- Added a demo pic to the Common box types section.
- Added a MAME-rr vs. FBA-rr discussion.
- Now that the background removal codes have been added to the mamecheat pack by Pugsy, the instructions have been simplified.
- The links to MAWS have been replaced by those to Progetto EMMA, which is like MAWS but in Italian, and overseen by people who keep their webspace intact.
- Finally added a proper section for the CPS3 script.
- The discussion on breakpoints has been moved there since it's the only script that uses them now. Hopefully SH-2 games will get Lua BPs and it can be removed entirely.
- Needs screenshots for NG and 2I. And then there's the Jojo games...
hey man, I tried to convert the MAME background removal cheat for sfa3 to use it in FBA-RR, but there's always a part of the background that doesn't want to go away.
As you can see in the image, RAM Watch says the values match the ones in the xml cheat file:

The difficulty in FBA is there's no way to affect ROM through the cheat engine, maybe not through Lua either. Luckily SFA3 only requires pokes to RAM. Here is a working code in FBA .ini format that I already had around:
cheat "Remove background"
0 "default"
1 "remove", 0, 0xFF8033, 0x0, 0, 0xFFD600, 0x0, 0, 0xFFD601, 0x0, 0, 0xFFD800, 0x0, 0, 0xFFD801, 0x0, 0, 0xFFDA00, 0x0, 0, 0xFFDA01, 0x0, 0, 0xFFDC00, 0x0, 0, 0xFFDC01, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC000, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC001, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC080, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC081, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC100, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC101, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC180, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC181, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC200, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC201, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC280, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC281, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC300, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC301, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC380, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC381, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC400, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC401, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC480, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC481, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC500, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC501, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC580, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC581, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC600, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC601, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC680, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC681, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC700, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC701, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC780, 0x0, 0, 0xFFC781, 0x0
